Arkansas public information and research

Informing citizens. Strengthening communities.

The Arkansas Accountability Project organizes public records, evidence-based research, and educational resources to support transparent government and informed civic participation throughout Arkansas.

Our goal is not to tell citizens what to think, but to provide the information they need to make informed decisions.

Who we are

An independent public information initiative

APAP exists to make complex public information easier to find, understand, and evaluate. We gather official records, organize evidence, explain public processes, and create educational materials that help Arkansas residents participate constructively in government.

Public Records

Collecting and organizing official documents so citizens can examine primary sources directly.

Research

Separating documented facts, analysis, unresolved questions, and opinion.

Civic Education

Preparing accessible resources that support respectful and informed public participation.

How we work

APAP guiding principles

Evidence First

Important statements should be tied to reliable records or clearly identified as analysis.

Accuracy

We review credible correction requests and revise material errors when warranted.

Transparency

Readers should be able to understand the sources, methods, and limitations behind our work.

Respectful Engagement

Public officials, agencies, and citizens should be addressed fairly and professionally.
